Siemens Smart Infrastructure has partnered
with SEW to support utilities globally to improve the customer and workforce experiences
for utility smart meter users and accelerate the path to a 100 percent
renewable world. Headquartered in Irvine, California, SEW
is an industry-leading
cloud platform provider specializing in digital customer experiences and workforce
experiences for utility providers. SEW’s solutions are powered by artificial
intelligence, machine learning, and IoT analytics. As the leading company for
grid software, Siemens is pushing ahead with its recently launched open,

accelerate digital transformation and value creation across industry,
transportation, grids and buildings. An important aspect of this strategy is an
ecosystem of partners with complementary portfolios.

Siemens once again delivered an outstanding
performance in fiscal 2022 (as of September 30, 2022). Based on strong growth momentum, all
four industrial businesses recorded increases in order intake and revenue. In
some cases, these increases were significant. Despite a continuing complex macroeconomic
environment influenced, among other things, by economic sanctions on Russia,
high inflation and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, Siemens grew again in
all key markets. In addition, major interruptions in fiscal 2022 could be
avoided despite supply chain risks in the areas of electronic components, raw
materials and logistics.

- DB contributes operator
expertise
Deutsche Bahn AG (DB)

Siemens Mobility following a tender. In the first half of 2023, the two
companies will work together on developing their vision of a new-generation

expected to follow in the second half of 2023 for the development, construction
and certification of the new fleet.
- Design freedom in additive manufacturing reduces carbon footprint of gripper solutions in the automotive sector by around 80 percent
- Decentralized production and optimized factory planning using digital twins reduce CO2 emissions during production and transport
- 3D printing with biodegradable materials reduces pollution
At this year's Formnext, the international trade fair for additive manufacturing, Siemens is demonstrating what sustainable additive manufacturing looks like. Using several use cases, the technology company shows how resources, carbon footprint and environmental impact can be reduced. For this purpose, the entire value chain of a product must be considered transparently. Then climate targets can be achieved, and an environmentally friendly industry can be designed.

have always been able to rekindle their enthusiasm for their sport and, as a
result, overcome difficult phases in their career. The episodes will be

will be released on a monthly basis.
