Siemens is expanding its family of Reyrolle protection devices with the
launch of the 7SR46. Complementing an extensive portfolio of protection relays
for distribution and industrial grids, the primary application for the Reyrolle
7SR46 is to provide overcurrent and earth fault protection in medium voltage
distribution transformer stations. Mounted in a ring main unit, the protection
device detects cable faults on the network and operates quickly to disconnect
the fault. The 7SR46 dual powered protection relay is to be showcased at Enlit Europe, taking place in Frankfurt
from November 29 to December 1.

service management, to expand its ecosystem of partners for its grid software
business. Headquartered in Italy, OverIT offers a software solution to boost
productivity in workforce management and create data analytics to track, calculate and analyze
field service operations. This partnership further strengthens the Siemens
Grid Software portfolio ecosystem, enabling exponential growth in distributed renewable
energy by integrating information from all essential parts of the converging
OT/IT landscape.

Siemens agreed to
supply Electromin, the e-Mobility unit of Saudi Arabia’s lubricants and

Siemens is expanding its generator circuit-breaker portfolio with a new
compact version - the HB1-Compact (HB1-C). The versatile and highly
customizable solution uses maintenance-free vacuum switching technology and
addresses the most challenging of constraints. Available in L-shape and I-shape
designs, the HB1-C can be mounted either vertically or horizontally and can be
adjusted to match existing busbar connection points. Additionally, the
generator circuit-breaker and its integrated main disconnector can be fitted
with earthing switches on the generator side and/or the transformer side for
greater flexibility.

Siemens once again delivered an outstanding
performance in fiscal 2022 (as of September 30, 2022). Based on strong growth momentum, all
four industrial businesses recorded increases in order intake and revenue. In
some cases, these increases were significant. Despite a continuing complex macroeconomic
environment influenced, among other things, by economic sanctions on Russia,
high inflation and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, Siemens grew again in
all key markets. In addition, major interruptions in fiscal 2022 could be
avoided despite supply chain risks in the areas of electronic components, raw
materials and logistics.
At its
meeting today, the Supervisory Board of Siemens AG renewed the appointment of
Managing Board Member Judith Wiese (51). The term of the Chief People &
Sustainability Officer and Labor Director will run a further five years until
September 30, 2028.

Deutsche Bahn AG (DB)
has concluded a development partnership for long-distance rail transport with
Siemens Mobility following a tender. In the first half of 2023, the two
companies will work together on developing their vision of a new-generation
high-speed train. Once the concept has been completed, a further tender is
expected to follow in the second half of 2023 for the development, construction
and certification of the new fleet.
