Siemens Mobility today signed an agreement to divest Yunex Traffic, the international road traffic business, to Atlantia S.p.A. The Managing Board and Supervisory Board of Siemens AG have approved the planned transaction. The purchase price is €950 million (enterprise value). Closing is expected by September 2022, subject to the relevant regulatory approvals. Yunex Traffic is a leader in innovative and intelligent infrastructure and traffic solutions for roads and cities. As a global leader in mobility infrastructure technology and services, Atlantia is a long-term, strategically oriented new owner for Yunex Traffic.

has selected Capital™ electrical/electronic (E/E) systems
development software from Siemens‘ Xcelerator portfolio to accelerate the
development of commercial aircraft.

The Siemens
Caring Hands e.V. charity is making a long-term contribution to fighting the
pandemic and is supporting the City of Toronto in Canada with a donation of approximately
$400,000 (€295,000) to benefit Cummer Lodge. Long-term care residents have been
disproportionately impacted by COVID-19 and despite very high levels of
vaccination among residents and visitors (the City of Toronto has a mandatory
vaccination policy in place for staff), the safety of all these groups remains
a top priority. Cummer Lodge is the first Canadian recipient of the
international fund led by Siemens Caring Hands e.V.

"Comos Mobile
Worker" is a new software application for mobile data management with
integrated augmented reality functionalities from Siemens. It was developed in
cooperation with Augmensys GmbH, a specialist in the field of mobile data
management / augmented reality. For the fast and safe maintenance of process
plants, the Comos Mobile Worker app visualizes and processes all required data,
e.g. from ERP systems, engineering data and also live data from the process
control system in an easy-to-use interface.

Siemens and LG Energy Solution (LGES), a leading global battery manufacturer signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to increase cooperation in the field of battery manufacturing, particularly the digitization of production process. Under the terms of the agreement, which was signed by Cedrik Neike, Member of the Managing Board of Siemens AG and CEO Digital Industries and Young Soo Kwon, CEO of LG Energy Solution and at LGES’s headquarters in Seoul, the two companies plan to take steps to promote the process of battery manufacturing intelligence at LGES production facilities worldwide.

In view of the
current pandemic situation and because of the high number of participants expected, the Managing Board of Siemens AG has
decided, with Supervisory Board approval, to hold the company’s next Annual
Shareholders’ Meeting on February 10, 2022, again as a virtual event.
At its meeting today, the Supervisory Board
of Siemens AG decided to renew the appointment of Managing Board member Ralf P.
Thomas (60). The term of the company’s chief Financial Officer of Siemens AG
will run until December 14, 2026.
