Siemens, a leader in the
digitization industry, has entered a strategic partnership with ERMA FIRST, a Ballast

marine automation equipment and applications. As part of the partnership,
Siemens will offer products tested in many

- The two companies intend to work together to close gaps in the standardization of inductive charging systems
- Plans include technical collaboration and joint interoperability tests
Siemens and MAHLE intend to collaborate in the field of inductive charging of electric vehicles. Both companies have signed a letter of intent to this effect. “Wireless charging of electric vehicles is emerging as a major market for the future. In addition to making life considerably easier for drivers, who no longer have to fiddle with cables and connectors, it is a crucial requirement for the autonomous mobility of tomorrow. The transfer efficiency of wireless, inductive charging is comparable to plug-in systems,” said Stefan Perras, Head of Pre-development and Innovation for Charging Infrastructure at Siemens AG.
“We captured significant opportunities in a market environment with ongoing high demand. Our strong top line momentum
continued, with a comparable order growth of 20 percent since the beginning of fiscal 2022. This shows: Our business is
attractive and grew once again. We have the right offerings and the right strategy to be successful even in uncertain times,” said
Roland Busch, President and Chief Executive Officer of Siemens AG. “We made significant progress as a focused technology
company in the third quarter with the launch of our open digital business platform, Siemens Xcelerator, accelerating the digital
transformation of our customers. We also acquired Brightly Software, an outstanding software-as-a-service player in the building
space, which perfectly complements our leading position in smart buildings.”
