Siemens opens the IAA Studio at the Wittelsbacherplatz in Munich
The IAA
Studio will open on Tuesday, September 7, at 10:30 a.m. at the Ludwig Ferdinand
Palais at the Wittelsbacherplatz in Munich. During the one-hour event,
participants will receive an overview of the three days of planned events as
well as all information about the #MoveToTransform campaign. The kick-off event
will be rounded off with an exchange on the role of people in innovation and
technology in the fields of mobility and infrastructure. For this first event,
the IAA Studio welcomes Lynette Jackson, Head of Communications at Smart
Infrastructure, Dr. Nari Kahle, author of the book “Mobility on the Move” and
Head of Strategic Programs at CARIAD SE, and Christophe Marnat, Executive Vice
President – Electronics and Advanced Driver Assist Systems Division at ZF
Group.
The
individual sessions on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday will cover topics ranging
from autonomous vehicles and the transformation of the automotive industry, to whether
electrification is the only option going forward for the automotive industry, and
what fast charging options for electric trucks are. Furthermore, we will host a
discussion on how intelligent solutions in road traffic make our cities more
livable, with a special focus on road users facing mobility challenges in their
daily lives. We will also take a look at the importance of digitalization for
mobility today and how MaaS (Mobility as a Service) platforms and apps make it easier
for travelers to access mobility options. And will be presenting the world’s
first augmented-reality workshop solution. Also on the agenda: First and last-mile
mobility solutions and the future potential offered by state-of-the-art AI and

The number of
spots available for physical attendance are limited due to the current pandemic
and are subject to a strict hygiene concept. Participants must follow the German
