complex macroeconomic environment influenced by the coronavirus pandemic
(COVID-19).
In September, Digital
Industries (DI) Motion Control (MC) at Siemens Korea successfully signed a
project contract to expand processing capacity of Incheon International Airport
Terminal 2 Baggage Handling System (BHS).
In the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI- a
globally established sustainability ranking prepared annually since 1999),
Siemens has taken first place among the 45 companies included in the ranking of
its industry group.
On November 15, a ceremony was held to celebrate the delivery of the 1st company Electric Vehicle(EV) at Siemens Korea with participation of Mr. HaJoong Chung, President & CEO, Mr. Frank Zimmermann, Senior Executive Vice President & CFO and other SLS employees.

Siemens announced the official
appointment of current Vice President HaJoong Chung as President and CEO of
Siemens Korea (Siemens Ltd. Seoul·SLS)
effective October 1, 2021. As CEO, Mr. HaJoong Chung
will lead all businesses at Siemens Korea, while also serving his current role as
Head of Smart Infrastructure and CEO of Siemens Mobility Ltd., Seoul.
On September 2021 Siemens Korea donated
special meal and sanitation kits to the elderly in recognition of the Senior
Citizens Day.
- Previous Meal-serving activity for the elderly will be conducted this year in a non-contact
way
- Food and
sanitation kits worth KRW 10 million will be delivered to low-income seniors
through the Seoul Senior Citizens Welfare Center
A global
