In accordance
with the “Smart Work Guideline” that maintains a Mobile Working (including
working from home) from two to three days per week even in the post-COVID-19
era, the new office has been implemented in a more flexible and smarter working
environment. The new office is mainly designed in three zones – Focus, Retreat,
and Collaboration – from which all desks are available for anyone to use
without being assigned to a particular employee. By using the mobile app
“Comfy”, employees can book the desired desk and meeting room in advance while
also checking the location of other colleagues. The new office pursuing a
hybrid workplace focuses on improving employee’s well-being and work
productivity with more than 30 multipurpose meeting rooms including video conference
room, EHS Healthcare Office, ladies’ lounge, rest area with message chairs, and
a large cafeteria. Furthermore, a central staircase connecting the 9th and 10th
floors has been installed for promoting more efficient communication and
collaboration between Businesses and Departments.
