The technology company
Siemens, an innovation leader in automation and digitalization, and DMG MORI, a
leading global supplier of cutting-edge machine tools for turning, milling, and
grinding as well as for additive manufacturing, are presenting the first end-to-end
digital twin for machine tool machining on Siemens Xcelerator. Based on the
Digital Native CNC Sinumerik One, the offering includes the digital twin of the
controller, the customer-specific DMG MORI machine tool, and the workpiece and
is available now on Siemens Xcelerator Marketplace.
Under the motto "Accelerate transformation for a sustainable tomorrow", Siemens will be presenting at this year's EMO how companies in the machine tool industry can master current challenges, such as the increasing need for energy efficiency and sustainability, while at the same time meeting the demand for high-quality, affordable, and individualized products. The key to meeting these challenges - building on automation - lies in digitalization and the resulting data transparency. Only a digital enterprise is able to connect the real world with the digital world and make the right decisions using smart software tools in order to produce flexibly, quickly and sustainably.
You can experience the Siemens solutions and meet with the experts in
person at the EMO exhibition booth (Hall 9, G54) in Hannover.

in Stuttgart.
The best of two
worlds – EMO 2021, Siemens is going hybrid. Under the motto
"Digitalization in Machine Tool Manufacturing - Infinite opportunities
from infinite data", Siemens will be demonstrating at EMO Milano and at
the virtual Siemens Machine Tool Days 2021, which will be held at the same
time, how the full potential of data can be used for higher productivity. This
is because combining the real world with the digital world enables
manufacturers and users of machine tools to act flexibly and sustainably. You can experience the Siemens solutions live and meet with the experts in person at the EMO exhibition booth (Hall 7 | E06) in Milan. - End-to-end automation and digitalization in intralogistics as a decisive competitive advantage
- NEW: Simove for automated guided vehicles and mobile robots with new features
- NEW: Simatic Robot Pick Pro and Simatic Robot Pack AI for robot systems
Following
the motto "LogiMAT 2024 – experience the flow," Siemens is showcasing
its extensive automation and digitalization portfolio for the intralogistics
industry at this year's Logimat. Intralogistics is the backbone of every supply
chain. Increasing demands for energy efficiency and sustainability as well as
labor shortages and cybersecurity threats require efficient and adaptive
material flow technology. IoT-enabled hardware and software from the Siemens
Xcelerator portfolio cover the entire warehouse operation, including receiving,
transport, storage, picking, packing, and shipping. By leveraging
digitalization, automation, and innovative technologies like the digital twin,
Siemens is improving the efficiency and sustainability of the intralogistics
industry and paving the way for a smart, adaptable, and resilient future for logistics
operations.
As a virtual event, the Siemens Machine
Tool Days provide insights into digital solutions for the machine tool
industry. Keynotes, #HowTo expert panels and practical examples will deal with
digital possibilities for increasing productivity in manufacturing under the
motto "Digitalization in Machine Tool Manufacturing - Thinking further!
Using the Digital Enterprise portfolio as an example, Siemens will show how the
integration of automation and digitization with future technologies such as
edge and cloud computing and artificial intelligence can be used effectively in
