Siemens Digital Industries Software today announced
Maeve Aerospace B.V. has adopted the Siemens Xcelerator portfolio of industry
software and services to aid in the development of Maeve 01 – its next-generation,
zero emissions all-electric passenger aircraft. Unveiled at the Paris Air Show,
Maeve 01 enables 44+ passengers to travel in a range of 250nmi with zero
emissions.

To boost future growth, drive innovation and increase
resilience, Siemens today presented its investment strategy which includes €2
billion mainly for new manufacturing capacity as well as innovation labs,
education centers and other own sites. Siemens today announced a new high-tech factory in
Singapore, to serve the booming Southeast Asia markets.

Siemens Digital Industries Software today announced that it is integrating the
Supplyframe™ Design-to-Source Intelligence platform with its Siemens Xcelerator
portfolio of software and services to bring robust real-time supply chain intelligence
to the world’s most comprehensive digital twin technology.
- Siemens has partnered with UN Women Germany through the African Girls Can Code Initiative (AGCCI) to train girls and young women in Africa in digital and further skills

Siemens has partnered with United Nations (UN) Women Germany
for an upskilling program of more than 600 young African women in South Africa,
Kenya, Rwanda, Senegal, and Uganda. The joint initiative was launched in April 2022.
Now, the first round of workshops has started. A hybrid event, hosted by
Siemens South Africa, will kick off the African Girls Can Code (AGCCI) coding
camp and the SieMent EmpowHer mentorship program.

Siemens continued
its strong growth momentum also in Q2 2023 (ended March 31, 2023). The
quarter was characterized by very strong order intake, outstanding revenue
growth driven by substantial increases at Digital Industries, Smart
Infrastructure and Mobility, and higher Profit Industrial Business, including
sharp increases at Smart Infrastructure and Digital Industries, which both
achieved their highest-ever quarterly profit. Following the strong first half of fiscal 2023, Siemens
is again raising its outlook for the fiscal year.

With Sinamics S200, Siemens is launching a new servo drive system designed
for a variety of standard applications in the battery, electronics as well as other
industries. It consists of a precise servo drive, powerful servo motors and
easy-to-use cables and offers high dynamic performance. Applications that
require precision in speed and torque, such as winding and unwinding machines in
battery manufacturing and cell assembly, particularly benefit from the new
servo drive system. For this purpose, Sinamics S200 offers optimized speed
ripple, cogging torque compensation, 17/21-bit ST and 21-bit MT encoders, and
cycle-synchronous communication for optimized performance by
Profinet IRT in minimum 250us.
