Siemens, the global powerhouse in electronics and electrical engineering operating in the energy, infrastructure, industry and healthcare sectors, has been awarded a turnkey contract by the Abu Dhabi Transmission and Despatch Company, known as TRANSCO, to supply a high-voltage grid substation at Mirfa in Abu Dhabi. The project will help meet growing demand for, and enhance the availability of, power in the capital city of the United Arab Emirates.
