has successfully held its Innovation Tour 2023 event at Fairmont Ambassador
Seoul on July 13.
Siemens Korea’s ‘The NANUM
volunteer corps’ held a meal serving citizenship program on May 19 in
celebration of the ‘Family Month’ with participation of around 40 employees
including Mr. HaJoong Chung, President and CEO of Siemens Korea, and Mr. Tino
Hildebrand, Vice President and Head of DI Korea at the Seoul Senior Welfare
Center in Jongno-gu, Seoul.

A global powerhouse in electrical engineering and electronics, Siemens Korea (Siemens Ltd. Seoul·SLS) announced that the company served meals to the elderly in celebration of Family Month, on May 19.
Siemens continued its strong growth
momentum also in Q2 2023 (ended March 31, 2023). The quarter was characterized
by very strong order intake, outstanding revenue growth driven by substantial
increases at Digital Industries, Smart Infrastructure and Mobility, and higher
Profit Industrial Business, including sharp increases at Smart Infrastructure
and Digital Industries, which both achieved their highest-ever quarterly
profit. Following the strong first half of fiscal 2023, Siemens is again
raising its outlook for the fiscal year.
Siemens started fiscal 2023 (to December
31, 2022) with a strong performance and maintained its continuing growth
momentum with very good results in Q1. The company leveraged growth
opportunities in its key markets despite a still complex macroeconomic
environment.
In
January, Siemens Mobility signed a contract to supply signaling system for Geomdan
Extension Line of Incheon Metro Line 1.
Siemens was able to identify growth
opportunities in many key markets despite a continuing complex macroeconomic
environment influenced by energy shortages and availability concerns stemming
from the Russia-Ukraine conflict, high inflation and effects associated with
the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19). In addition, major interruptions in fiscal
2022 could be avoided despite supply chain risks in the areas of electronic
components, raw materials, and logistics.

Ltd. Seoul·SLS) celebrated the 175th anniversary of Siemens AG and the
55th anniversary of Siemens Korea at the headquarters located in Gwanghwamun
D-Tower on October 5.
On
September 30th, the ‘Business Integrity Society (BIS) Impact Forum’
was held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Gwanghwamun to present the final results
of BIS, collective action project for fighting corruption to establish a fair
business environment.
