Accelerating digital transformation
and supporting sustainable, energy-efficient business across industries based
on technological cooperation Siemens Korea and AtkinsRéalis Korea,
“Contributing to digital transformation and building sustainable smart
manufacturing environment and infrastructure for industries by providing
advanced digital solutions across all businesses”A global powerhouse in electrical engineering and electronics, Siemens
Korea (Siemens Ltd. Seoul·SLS) announced that the company signed a Memorandum
of Understanding (MoU) with AtkinsRéalis Korea for cooperation in industrial digitalization,
energy efficiency and sustainable business.
In fiscal 2024 (ended September 30, 2024), Siemens
successfully continued its profitable growth trajectory, made important
strategic progress and achieved record highs as a leading technology
company.
On August 31, Siemens Korea participated in the “10th
Harmony Marathon with Visually Impaired” at Seoul Olympic Park. This was the
second time since last year that Siemens Korea joined the marathon, as part of
the joint CSR campaign “Guide Walkers” organized by the Korean-German Chamber
of Commerce and Industry (KGCCI), encouraging the participation of German
companies in Korea.
Siemens continued its profitable growth trajectory again in the
third quarter. Overall, the company clearly increased its net income and profit
margin and thus demonstrated its financial strength once again. With a
sustained large order backlog, which totaled €113 billion in Q3, and a
book-to-bill ratio greater than 1, Siemens is optimally equipped for the
future. As a result, the Siemens Group confirms its outlook for fiscal 2024,
whereby comparable revenue growth – that is, excluding currency translation and
portfolio effects – at Group level (in the range of 4 percent to 8 percent) and
the profit margin at Digital Industries (18 percent to 21 percent) will be at
the lower end of their respective target ranges. The profit margin at Smart
Infrastructure is expected to be at the upper end of its target range (16
percent to 17 percent).

Digital Experience and Application Center in Changwon on July 25
- Siemens Korea to continue setting new directions
for industrial education in Korea and contribute to enhancing young talents’
technical skills

Siemens Digital CNC Competition” was successfully held on July 25 at the
Digital Experience and Application Center in Changwon, Gyeongsangnam-do.
Siemens delivered
solid performance in the second quarter, successfully meeting the high demand
for digitalization and sustainability technology. Notably, the industrial
software business showed strong growth with particularly high demand in the
semiconductor industry. Demand from customers for the construction of data
centers also showed strong momentum. Currently muted demand in the short-cycle
automation business at Digital Industries, particularly in China and Europe,
was largely offset by strong revenue development at Smart Infrastructure and
Mobility. In addition, Siemens took a key step in focusing its portfolio with
the sale of Innomotics to KPS Capital Partners for €3.5 billion.
