Dieter Schletterer speeches at ‘5G Smart Factory Alliance’

Mr. Dieter Schletterer, Vice President of Digital Factory and Process Industries & Drives Division (DF/PD) of Siemens Ltd. Seoul (SLS), delivered a keynote speech under the topic ‘5GX for Smart Factory’ at ‘5G Smart Factory Alliance(5G-SFA)’ conference, held at Smart Manufacturing Innovation Center on December 20.

The 5G-SFA was co-hosted by Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy(MOTIE), Ministry of Science, Technology Information and Communication(MSIT), Ministry of SMEs and Startups(MSS), and co-organized by Smart Manufacturing Innovation Center and SK Telecom, for aiming to encourage mutual growth of ICT companies and Operational Technology Development companies. During the speech, Mr. Schletterer said “5G technology will strengthen the competitiveness of the manufacturing industry.” Moreover, he added, “This 5G alliance will contribute to the development of technologies and environment on domestic manufacturing industry."
