DI successfully held ‘Innovation Tour 2019 Seoul’
Digital Industries (DI) at Siemens Korea successfully held 'Siemens Innovation Tour 2019 Seoul' with participation of major customers at Glad Hotel, Yeouido, Seoul on May 31.
Under the slogan ‘Set the pace for Digitalization,’ DI introduced various Digital Enterprise and IoT related topics such as Simulation Technologies, Program Automation, Integrated Motion Control, Edge Computing, and Industrial Cloud Solutions towards approximately 150 participants. Presentations and live demonstration were followed to help the participants understand exclusive solutions of Siemens Korea. Through the event, DI employees presented Integrated Portfolio that can be applied to enterprises of all sizes and participants spent meaningful time to discuss on the importance of Digitalization.
“Low growth rate in Korea's economy shows that invisible assets such as data need to be applied to build up new competitiveness and the attempts to find value-added from these data will lead to innovation.” said Mr. Dieter Schletterer, Head of Digital Industries at Siemens Korea. Moreover, Mr. Schletterer emphasized the importance of Digitalization by saying, “Only enterprises that apply Digitalization into entire manufacturing process will be able to maximize productivity in the digital age.”
