Siemens announced the launch of MACHINUM, a
groundbreaking digitalization portfolio designed to accelerate the speed,
agility, and endurance of the Indian machine tool industry, at IMTEX 2025.
MACHINUM has the potential to reduce setup time up to 20%* and cycle times and
energy consumption up to 18%**.
- The
Sivok-Rangpo railway electrification is part of the first electrified rail line
in the region connecting Sikkim to the national rail grid
Siemens Limited announced that it has
received an order from IRCON International Limited worth approximately Rs. 210
crore for the electrification of the Sivok-Rangpo rail line. This is a part of
the first electrified rail line in the region connecting Sikkim to the national
rail grid. The comprehensive sustainable rail technologies include Rigid
Overhead Catenary System in Tunnels, SCADA systems for centralized control and
monitoring of electrification infrastructure, predictive maintenance and
implementation of several eco-friendly infrastructure practices.

Siemens Limited announced the expansion of
two of its 32 factories in India today. This is in addition to the capacity
expansions of the Power Transformer factory in Kalwa and Vacuum Interrupter
factory in Goa announced by the Company in November 2023. With this, total Capex investment is expected to exceed Rs 1,000
crore.

The Board of
Directors of Siemens Limited approved the proposal to demerge its Energy
Business into a separate legal entity – Siemens Energy India Limited (currently
a wholly owned subsidiary of Siemens Limited). Siemens Energy India Limited
will be subsequently listed and will mirror the shareholding of Siemens
Limited, upon the receipt of requisite approvals.
