Share of order value for Siemens Ltd. is Rs. 184.1 crores.
Siemens will supply rolling stock, electrification, signaling system and depot workshop equipment. In addition, Siemens is responsible for the complete system integration including interface management of the rail sub-systems.
For the third quarter of Financial Year 2013 ended June 30, 2013, Siemens Ltd. registered New Orders of Rs. 2,620.4 crores and Sales stood at Rs. 2,588.4 crores.
The order further strengthens the position of Siemens Infrastructure and Cities Sector as a leader in sustainable urban transportation solutions for India.
Order is worth Rs. 66 crores and involves installation of state-of-the-art, fourth-generation distributed control system - SPPA-T3000.
For the second quarter of Financial Year 2013 ended March 31, 2013, Siemens Ltd. registered New Orders of Rs. 2,814.1 crores, up by 52% from Rs. 1,849.2 crores in the same period last year. Sales stood at Rs. 2,907.7 crores, down by 27% over Rs. 3,988.2 crores in Q2 2012.
