Siemens' Supervisory Board approves new assignment of Managing Board responsibilities

"The performance of our entire Managing Board team led by Joe Kaeser has been exceptional over the last few years. As a result, the Supervisory Board unanimously supported the new entrepreneurial concept Vision 2020+ and is entrusting its implementation to an experienced team in order to accelerate the transformation of our company from a position of strength," said Jim Hagemann Snabe, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Siemens AG.
Effective October 1, 2018, responsibilities within the Managing Board will be as follows:
Joe Kaeser (61): President and Chief Executive Officer; Corporate Countries USA, China; Governance & Markets, Communications, Legal and Compliance
Roland Busch (53): Chief Operating Officer; Strategic Company Siemens Alstom (subject to regulatory approval); Corporate Development
Lisa Davis (54): Operating Company Gas and Power
Klaus Helmrich (60): Operating Company Digital Industries; Corporate Country Germany
Janina Kugel (48): Human Resources
Cedrik Neike (45): Operating Company Smart Infrastructure; Corporate Country India
Michael Sen (49): Strategic Companies Siemens Healthineers, Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy; Global Business Services
Ralf P. Thomas (57): Chief Financial Officer; Service Companies
Financial Services, Real Estate Services; Controlling and Finance

"This proven team will enable us to take our company to the next level and build the next-generation Siemens," said Snabe.
In addition, the Supervisory Board declared its intention to extend the employment contract of Lisa Davis, which expires on July 31, 2019. The Supervisory Board will discuss the personnel matters relating to Lisa Davis within the timeframe set by company policy, that is, at one of its regular meetings in the late fall of 2018.
