Siemens AG has agreed to sell its Siemens Logistics business to Vanderlande, a company owned by Toyota Industries Corporation. Vanderlande is a leading global partner for future-proof logistic process automation in the warehousing, airports, and parcel sectors, and with that will be a strategic long-term owner for Siemens Logistics. The purchase price (enterprise value) is €300 million. Closing is expected in the course of calendar year 2025, subject to regulatory approvals.

Siemens has signed an agreement to acquire Altair Engineering Inc., a
leading provider of software in the industrial simulation and analysis market. Altair
shareholders will receive USD 113 per share, representing an enterprise value of approximately USD 10 billion. The offer price represents
a 19% premium to Altair's unaffected closing price on October 21, 2024, the
last trading day prior to media reports regarding a possible
transaction. With this acquisition Siemens strengthens its position as a leading
technology company and its leadership in industrial software.

Green Mobility
Partners, a Vienna-based new player in the European
full-service locomotive leasing business, has placed an order for up to 50
locomotives with Siemens Mobility. The contract includes the agreed purchase of
eight Vectron MS locomotives as well as support in the service area.

Following an investment of up to €230 million, Siemens Mobility
is opening its Train Manufacturing Facility as a key part of its new Goole Rail
Village in the United Kingdom, on a site which spans 67 acres, the size of 35
football pitches. London Underground’s new Piccadilly line trains will be
assembled at the factory in Goole before they start entering passenger service
from 2025, helping Transport for London (TfL) transform rail travel across the
UK’s capital. Overall, Siemens Mobility’s investment in the region will create
up to 700 new jobs and an additional 1,700 supply chain opportunities by 2030.
This investment will strengthen local production to serve global markets.

three-day Reclaiming Europe conference in Gdansk for the first time. The
Siemens Arts Program is responsible for the artistic direction of the opening
event, which takes place at 100cznia in Gdansk at 6 p.m. on October 13, 2024
and is open to the public. Tickets to the event are free of charge. Organized
by the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences and Humanities, Die Junge
Akademie and other partners, the Reclaiming Europe conference will address

Siemens AG has successfully closed the sale of Innomotics
to KPS Capital Partners, LP (“KPS”) for €3.5 billion (enterprise value).
On May 16, 2024, Siemens had announced plans to sell this world-leading
supplier of electric motors and large-drive systems to
KPS.

order for 25 Vectron MS units for continental Europe
Beacon, a leading European rolling stock lessor, and Siemens
Mobility have signed a major framework agreement for the delivery of Vectron
multi system locomotives, with an initial contract of 25 units. The new Vectron
locomotives with a power of 6.4 MW will supplement the existing Vectron Beacon
fleet. The units will be produced at the Siemens Mobility plant in
Munich-Allach, while the bogies will come from the global competence center in
Graz.

RS Lease, the
leading private lessor of railway vehicles in Slovakia, and Siemens Mobility
have signed a framework agreement for the delivery of up to 65 Vectron
locomotives. The agreement includes a fast delivery of 30 Vectron MS
locomotives, with the option to purchase an additional 35 locomotives of the
Vectron Multi System and Vectron Dual Mode variants.
