Siemens Integrity Initiative continues its commitment to the global fight against corruption

At Siemens, Collective Action is embedded in our Business Conduct Guidelines as a key strategic response to compliance challenges in numerous markets.
Seven new projects will each receive between Euro 1.2 million and Euro 2 million in funding over a period of three to four years. As one of the Siemens DEGREE targets, the Siemens Integrity Initiative aims to fight corruption globally by training 50,000 people and implementing 30 Collective Action initiatives by 2030.
Short-listed expert organizations out of the previous Golden Stretch funding round were invited to submit proposals for funding in April 2025. After a detailed evaluation seven organizations started project activities in October 2025:
  • the Basel Institute on Governance, Switzerland
  • the International Anti-Corruption Academy (IACA), Austria
  • the Maritime Anti-Corruption Network (MACN), Denmark
  • the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), Paris
  • the Transparency International Secretariat (TI), Berlin
  • the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), through the Foundation for the Global Compact, New York
  • the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), Vienna
  • “Our expert Integrity Partner organizations will innovate thematically diverse and ambitious project activities aligned with emerging trends aimed at strengthening policy frameworks and value chains, building trust and enabling ethical mindsets for current and future leaders in over 30 countries,” says Shawn Teixeira, Head of the Siemens Integrity Initiative.
Julianne Altieri, Head of International Financial Institutions & Collective Action affirms: “We know that corruption corrodes the fabric of society. For over 16 years Siemens has worked towards creating a level playing field for business globally through Collective Action, supporting the fight against fraud and corruption through multi-stakeholder engagement in order to drive systemic change and sustainable growth”.
