Siemens showcases power solutions for Iraq at IEE

Siemens is demonstrating its portfolio for building a reliable and sustainable power infrastructure in Iraq at the Iraq Energy Exhibition (IEE), which runs from April 2nd till 4th in Baghdad. Visitors can discuss the full breadth of Siemens’ energy portfolio and the various solutions available to the Iraqi market at the company’s booth. Siemens’ presence at the show encompasses three divisions – Power Generation, Power Generation Services, and Energy management.
Earlier this year, Siemens outlined its roadmap and commitment to supporting the development of Iraq, identifying the country’s short, mid and long-term development needs. The roadmap focuses on key areas including energy management, resource efficiency, education, anti-corruption and financing. After a presence of more than 80 years in Iraq, Siemens is in a strong position to support the country’s transformation with on-ground presence and reliable technology.
“We are delighted to be at the Iraq Energy Exhibition where we can have insightful discussions with our customers and demonstrate how our technology and know-how can support the rebuilding of Iraq. Our portfolio includes various solutions catering to different needs, ranging from fast power - plug and play solutions - to larger power plants that can supply electricity to tens of millions of people,” said Jean-Claude Nasr, Senior Executive Vice President of Power Generation Services, MENA, Siemens.
In addition to the exhibit area, Siemens’ experts will also be participating in a panel discussion on Day 2 of the event, highlighting the company’s portfolio for energy and its suitability for Iraq’s requirements.
