Siemens showcases next-generation of the company’s security solutions at Cairo ICT 2016

The company will use Cairo ICT as a platform to demonstrate an advanced and comprehensive suite of safety solutions across multiple verticals, including aviation, transport, public sector, banking and finance as well as oil and gas, amongst others to help build safer and more secured cities, where people and businesses can live and work in safety and comfort.
“As we are moving into an era of complete digitization, organizations and businesses in Egypt are rethinking how they approach their infrastructure to improve the quality of service and business outcomes, while reducing cyber risks and improving operations and security,” said Emad Ghaly, CEO of Siemens Egypt. “As Egypt’s premier technology exhibition, Cairo ICT offers an ideal platform for us to demonstrate real-life and industry relevant solutions, designed to help our customers meet both current and future security challenges, to ultimately accelerate their digital transformation journey.”
The next generation of Siemens command and control technology “Siveillance Vantage”, for instance, is specifically designed to support security management at critical infrastructure sites such as ports, airports, as well as chemical, pharmaceutical and heavy industries. Based on innovative software, Siveillance Vantage not only ties together all the sub-systems currently used to protect and manage different sites, but it also allows the operators to customize and integrate security policies and procedures.
Siemens will also place the spotlight on “SiPass integrated” solution, a powerful and extremely flexible access control system that enables operators to manage access to anything from a single low-rise office with just a few doors to massive high-rise complexes with tens of thousands of doors, gates, barriers and elevators at multiple sites around the globe. The platform can also serve as a security management station that integrates access control and intrusion detection into a single system.During the show, Siemens will highlight “Siveillance VMS”, a powerful video management solution designed for small to large-scale and high-security deployments.
Senior executives from Siemens will be available at stand Hall 4 at Cairo ICT 2016.
