Siemens HQ, Abu Dhabi’s most resource efficient office, goes dark for Earth Hour

The Siemens Headquarters at Masdar City is the first LEED Platinum-certified office building in Abu Dhabi. Inaugurated in January 2014, in its first year the headquarters saved 52 per cent water and 63 per cent electricity compared to a standard Abu Dhabi office building. It uses a combination of innovative architecture, material selection and advanced building technology from Siemens to make significant savings of water and electricity.
Earth Hour is an annual global event organized by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), and encourages individuals, communities, households and businesses to turn off their non-essential lights for one hour.
