Siemens Egypt signs agreement with NASS

NASS, an initiative of different companies in the private sector, collaborates with international partners such as Siemens with the goal of developing a new culture of professional technicians who can compete in the international market and lead regional industries towards higher levels of productivity and efficiency.
By collaborating with NASS Academy, Siemens will enable engineers and technicians to conceptualize and develop problem solving skills, understand the interface between business and manufacturing operations as well as develop transferable skills. The training programs will also put emphasis on individual ownership and responsibility for the industrial process and the finished product to, ultimately, prepare competitive technicians for the local and global markets.
“Engineering excellence is central to the 112 years of Siemens success in Egypt,” said Eng. Mohamed El-Mahdi, CEO of Siemens Egypt. “This agreement with NASS provides a formal basis for the two organizations to collaborate on enabling Egypt’s technicians to continuously evolve by providing them with an enriching and stable path to professional success. Eventually, we expect this to reflect positively on Egypt’s economic growth.”
Students’ tutoring will be based on the proven Siemens training concept, which combines theory and practice. The hands-on systematic training will take place at new state-of-the-art buildings located at NASS Academy.

These multi-dimensional training programs are designed to perfectly match the requirements of companies of various sizes and to support them, as they focus on the continuous professional development of their workforce, to ensure their employees are highly skilled and exhibit high professional standards.
