Mohammed bin Zayed Majlis for Future Generations
His Highness Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Cabinet Member and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, UAE, and His Excellency Dr. Ahmad Belhoul Al Falasi, Minister of State for Higher Education in the UAE, are welcomed by Dietmar Siersdorfer, CEO of Siemens Middle East and UAE, to the Siemens booth at the inaugural Mohammed bin Zayed Majlis for Future Generations, held today in Abu Dhabi. Representatives from Siemens met with Emirati students to discuss their career aspirations, their role in the future of the UAE and how Siemens is contributing to the country’s Vision 2021 by building a highly skilled, local workforce.
Siemens employs around 2,600 people in the UAE from more than 80 nationalities, and runs a series of education and vocational training initiatives, internships and university partnerships aimed at developing skills for Emirati students. Siemens also participates in the Youth Ambassadors Program, and last year more than 150 young Emiratis gained new skills and international experience through participation in education and training programs at Siemens.
