Maximilian Egger appointed CEO of Siemens in Egypt

Previously CEO of Siemens in Ukraine, Egger’s career at Siemens spans more than 40 years. Since joining the firm in 1972 he has held a series of senior management positions across a wide range of businesses, including the energy, industrial solutions and technical services fields.
Egger also has significant international experience at Siemens, and has been instrumental in developing the company’s businesses in Libya, Singapore, Indonesia, Australia, Germany, Egypt, Romania and Ukraine.
“I am delighted to return to Egypt at such an exciting time, and I look forward to actively participating in the country’s sustainable growth,” said Egger. “Siemens has a long history in Egypt – more than 113 years – and we are fully committed to growing our business, developing local talent and addressing the future needs of the country.”
