Siemens Ltd. Seoul Participates in ‘SIMTOS 2018’...to Present Future of Smart Factory
Under the theme of ‘Digitalization in Machine Tool Manufacturing,’ SLS will showcase various digital software related to CNC(Computer Numerical Control) system. To improve the flexibility and efficiency of manufacturing processes, such as cutting production costs and accelerating time to market, SLS’s digitalization solutions provide a process chain that all stages from design and development to production to be done virtually using a computer. Most noteworthy of all, SLS plans to demonstrate the integrated management of actual machine tools with MindSphere, the cloud-based, open IoT operating system.
In addition, SLS will hold open-for-all seminars to introduce its VNCK(key controller software) simulation and integrated robotic solution from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. on the 5th, in Room 207, exhibition center 1. The seminar on additive manufacturing technology of Siemens will follow until 4 p.m.
SIMTOS 2018 is Korea’s largest machine tool trade show and considered one of the world’s top four exhibitions, including EMO Hannover Machine Tool Show, IMTS(International Manufacturing Technology Show), and CIMT(China International Machine Tool Show). About 1,100 companies from 35 countries will participate in this event to introduce production·manufacturing technologies for the industry 4.0 and provide a blueprint for the next-generation manufacturing industry.
SLS booth will be located in Hall 8, #08E110 in exhibition center 2 of KINTEX.
