Siemens Korea donates KRW 20 million to help wildfire
victims in the eastern coastal areas
Siemens Ltd. Seoul and Siemens Industry Software jointly
delivered KRW 20 million in donations to the Korean Red Cross for supporting relief
efforts in the affected areas
A global powerhouse in electrical engineering and
electronics, Siemens Korea announced on March 29 that the company had donated KRW
20 million to support recovery efforts in the eastern coastal areas affected by
wildfires, including Uljin, Samcheok and Gangneung.

A global powerhouse in electrical engineering and
electronics, Siemens Korea announced on March 29 that the company had donated KRW
20 million to support recovery efforts in the eastern coastal areas affected by
wildfires, including Uljin, Samcheok and Gangneung.
Based
on a joint contribution made by Siemens Ltd. Seoul and Siemens Industry
Software, the donation was delivered to the Korean Red Cross and will be used for
a variety of relief activities such as supporting wildfire victims, operating
shelters, and providing emergency relief supplies.
“Siemens Korea sincerely hopes that with our contribution,
all the residents affected by wildfires will be able to restore their lives as
soon as possible,” said HaJoong Chung, President and CEO of Siemens Korea.
