Digital Industries (DI) of Siemens Korea (Siemens
Ltd. Seoul · SLS) officially opened the Korea Digital Enterprise Experience
Center (KDEXc) on June 29 near Samseong station, Gangnam-gu, Seoul.

KDEXc is expected to be an open space for
inspiration and collaboration with all industrial players, universities and
colleges, and other interested stakeholders to exchange ideas and work on new
concepts. The center will accompany customers to accelerate their digital transformation.
KDEXc provides training space and seminar rooms
for collaborative learning and an area for digital enterprise experience and technological
interactions, showcasing examples of Siemens’ digital twin portfolios optimized
for diverse industries. The experience space consists of five special zones: ▲Digital
Enterprise Overview ▲Process Industry ▲Discrete Industry ▲Future of Industry
▲Partner Zone/Product Highlight. The center allows visitors not only to take
Siemens’ technical training but also to actually test and demonstrate the
products.
At the opening ceremony, attended by leaders in
industrial automation and digitalization fields as well as high-level officials
from embassies, Siemens expressed the strong will to shape the future of digital
industries in Korea with customers.
Thomas Schmid, Head of Digital Industries at
Siemens Korea, said, “Industrial players have to embrace digitalization and
transform swiftly and continuously. By combining domain expertise with our
holistic portfolio offering, we support Korean companies of all sizes and
industries to speed up in digital transformation in line with Industry 4.0 and
to turn challenges into opportunities to become a Digital Enterprise with the
support here at KDEXc.”
