DF/PD in Korea holds “Siemens Automation Day 2018”

Digital Factory and Process Industries & Drives Division (DF/PD) at Siemens Ltd. Seoul successfully held “Siemens Automation Day 2018” at Poongsan Building, Courtyard Marriott Hotel in YoundDeungPo and Changwon office from August 22 to 31, targeting internal sales representatives and partners. Under the theme “Digitalization becomes real,” Siemens introduced its solutions based on integral approaches to the five stages of value chain for production based on “Design”, “Planning”, “Engineering”, “Production”, and “Service” to realize Digitalization, which is one of the 4th Industrial Revolution’s core value. The presentations and trial performances were followed to help the participants understand the exclusive solutions of Siemens. Through the event, participants spent meaningful time to discuss about the threats and opportunities that the 4th Industrial Revolution will bring, and thus realize once again that Digitalization has already become reality.
