The NANUM’ Volunteer Corps joined Meal Serving Volunteering

‘The NANUM’ volunteer corps with the participation of about 40 employees including Mr. ChewKong Lum, President and CEO of Siemens Ltd. Seoul (SLS),  joined a free meal serving volunteering on September 7 at Seoul Senior Welfare Center in Jongno-gu, Seoul. A contribution worth 10 million KRW was delivered to the Senior Welfare Center, reflecting the meaning of sharing and extending generous hands.

Furthermore, Siemens volunteers prepared and served Beef and Octopus Hot Pot for approximately 3,000 elderly, as well as washing dishes and cleaning up. Mr. Lum said, “We hope that the meals prepared and served by SLS employees today will support the nutrition and health management of the elderly. By aligning our business activities with the interest of the generations of today and tomorrow, we will continue to fulfill our responsibilities to the environment and society as a whole, showing strong contribution to the local community through active participation in Corporate Citizenship Programs.” ‘The NANUM’ volunteer corps will continue performing tailored volunteering activities in 2019 such as cleaning up the Han River Park, planting trees, briquette delivery etc.
