DF/PD wins the best prize at ‘2018 Industry Award Korea’

Digital Factory and Process Industries & Drives Division (DF/PD) of Siemens Ltd. Seoul (SLS) won the best prize in the field of ‘Smart Factory Technological Innovation’ at ‘2018 Industry Award Korea’, held at Korea Press center on December 18.

The award ceremony was hosted by ‘Industry News’, a newspaper company, to present the awards to the companies that created new values in technology and product development in the manufacturing industry. At the acceptance speech, Mr. Manfred Graeter, Executive Managing Director of Factory Automation at SLS, said “Siemens has spent a meaningful year by completing several Digitalization projects such as ‘Digital Twin’ and successfully implementing Siemens’ cloud-based open IoT operating system, ‘MindSphere’, for customers in Korea.” Moreover, he added, “It is a great honor that Siemens has received the best prize in the field of ‘Smart Factory Technological Innovation’.”
