Siemens Korea participates in ‘Goods Donation Campaign’

The ‘Goods Donation Campaign’ was held at Poongsan Building Auditorium with participation of employees from all Siemens entities in Korea: Siemens Ltd. Seoul(SLS), Siemens Healthineers Ltd. Korea(SHL), Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy(SGRE) and Siemens Industry Software (SISW), on January 18.

The campaign was co-hosted with Good Will Store and Miral Foundation - a non-Governmental Organization(NGO) for the developmentally disabled, aiming to contribute to the vocational rehabilitation as well as providing job opportunities for the disabled. During the event, employees donated various unused goods still in good condition, equivalent to a 1 ton truck. The donated items will be re-sold after being cleaned up and packed, while the total profit earned from the campaign will be used for wages and employment opportunities for the disabled. Moreover, the campaign will be aired on MBC via the program, ‘My Neighborhood’s Peter Pan’, in order to promote providing warm Hands to the underprivileged neighbors.
