Siemens Korea Annual Management Meeting 2017

‘Siemens Korea Annual Management Meeting 2017’ was held at the Westin Chosun Hotel on November 24 with the participation of around 75 top managers of Siemens in Korea. Starting with the highlight video of the ‘Siemens Business Conference 2017’, Dr. JongKap Kim, Chairman & CEO and Mr. ChewKong Lum, Senior Executive Vice president & CFO delivered the management message which included current status of the company and compliance topic.

The ceremony of the ‘Werner von Siemens Award - Siemens Korea Country Award’ was followed. During the ceremony, 4 teams in total including two teams selected for the ‘top 60’ at the ‘Werner von Siemens Award’ were provided with trophies and certificates in recognition of their great efforts and contribution to Siemens in Korea. Best practice sharing session of the 2 ‘top 60’ winners were followed. After a short coffee break, Mr. YoungIn Yang, President of Mentor Graphics presented on ‘Expanding digitalization portfolio for industry software’, following Mr. Thomas Gulden’s presentation on ‘Digitalization in Power Generation Services’.

After lunch, Mr. SooSung Lee, CEO of Roland Berger Korea gave a special presentation on “Industry 4.0”. Participants showed high interests on the topic by making numerous questions. Afterwards, representatives from each Division presented on their performances and strategies for FY18. After a final wrap-up session from SLS Management and a group photo, participants enjoyed dinner together and enhanced teamwork with each other.
