Siemens Korea won the Korea Retirement Pension Award

Siemens Korea was awarded the Best Company prize in the DC sector at the “7th Korea Retirement Pension Awards” ceremony on March 18. Sponsored by the Ministry of Employment and Labor and the Financial Supervisory Service and hosted and organized by Korea Economic Daily and Mercer Korea, the awards are presented to companies that efficiently manage and operate the retirement pension, which is the valuable retirement asset for employees. Mr. ChewKong Lum President & CEO of Siemens Korea attended the ceremony together with Human Resources.

Siemens Korea was selected as best company in recognition of its proactive response to bringing employees higher profits in the retirement pension. Every quarter, Siemens Korea establishes a DC subscriber counseling booth in the workplace to ensure that all employees receive timely counseling with model portfolios suitable for individual characteristics that support their investment decisions. Furthermore, under the participation of Labor Union, Human Resources and Accounting & Controlling Department Siemens holds an operating committee on quarterly basis to systematically manage the retirement pension. The operating committee diagnoses and solves problems arising from the process of operating retirement pensions by actively reflecting employees’ feedback and requests. As a result of these continuous efforts, employees have shown high level of satisfaction for the company’s retirement pension management.
