Siemens Green School, June 2019

'Siemens Green School' was held on June 21 at MyoGok Elementary School in Seoul with participation of 150 6th grade elementary school students. Approximately 50 participants including Siemens employee volunteers, instructors, and college student supporters conducted environment and science educational program.

Three main programs aiming to inform students about on-going environmental issues, let students know how to maintain planet Earth as a sustainable place, were conducted under the topic of 'Getting Closer to Energy', 'Learning about Energy' and 'Making Commitments'. Work-books that support students to understand the program better and record on what they have learned, were also provided. Students payed great attention and actively discussed about reducing carbon foorprint while a video clip about carbon dioxide emission was played.
