‘The NANUM’ volunteer corps deliver briquettes to neighbors

On January 25, ‘The NANUM’ volunteer corps of Siemens Korea conducted Briquette Delivery for low-income elderly living alone in BaekSa Village, Nowon-gu, Seoul with the participation of about 60 employees.

‘The NANUM’ volunteer corps donated 10 million KRW to Seoul Yeontan Bank, equal to around 12,500 home-heating charcoal briquettes, of which 3,000 were delivered door to door on this day by the employees. Since 2013, about 430 Siemens Korea employees have visited the same neighborhood annually to deliver charcoal briquettes over the past seven years, recording 70 million KRW in donations and about 110,000 briquettes delivered to date. ‘The NANUM’ volunteer corps will continue its citizenship programs such as visiting the elderly living alone, neighborhood cleaning, meal serving and more.
