LDA participated in the ‘4th Hyundai Steel Tech Show’

Large Drive Application(LDA) department of Portfolio Companies(PoC) at Siemens Korea participated in the ‘4th Hyundai Steel Tech Show’ held from October 22 to October 24 at Dangjin Integrated Steelworks, Chungcheongnam-do.

LDA presented various products and solutions based on high voltage motor and drive technology, oriented to Hyundai Steel. Especially, ‘SIDRIVE IQ’ which provides predictive maintenance, ‘SINAMICS Perfect Harmony GH180’, the general purpose MV converter for pumps or blower and the high voltage motor ‘SIMOTICS HV’ with maximum flexibility for voltage and power rating are also introduced to the visitors.

On the second day, LDA held a technology seminar under the theme ‘Saving energy with the use of high voltage drive’, and presented possible energy savings through the application of high efficiency motor and inverters, drawing participation and much attention from Hyundai Steel employees. This year, total 75 companies, 11 more than last year, participated and held technical seminars, various side events such as purchase counseling sessions and tour to Dangjin Integrated Steelworks, as well as communicating with the participants and suggesting suitable products and solutions for customers.
