DF/PD participates in ‘3rd Hyundai Steel Tech Show’

Digital Factory and Process Industries & Drives Division(DF/PD) of Siemens Ltd. Seoul(SLS) participated in the ‘3rd Hyundai Steel Tech Show’, held from October 23 - 25.

All DF/PD Business Units including Process Automation(PA), Factory Automation(FA), Large Drives(LD) and MindSphere took part in the event and introduced to Hyundai Steel employees the suitable products and solutions provided by Siemens. In particular, DF/PD besides exhibiting COMOS, which provides integrated engineering and maintenance solution, also introduced the upgraded functions of cloud-based Internet of Things operation system, ‘MindSphere’.

During the Technology Seminar, PA gave a presentation under the topic, ‘Standardization in Design & Predictive Maintenance Solution’ and drew attention from the participants by explaining integral approaches to the five stages of value chain including Design, Planning, Engineering & Commissioning, Operation, and Service. Through the event, DF/PD spent meaningful time to discuss about the trend in digitalization, one of the key elements in the 4th Industrial Revolution, as well as introducing the company’s proper solutions for customers.
