Following a demanding and
highly successful certification process, both companies have fully met the
relevant legislative and regulatory requirements by implementing effective
actions to protect the environment.
At the same time, Siemens
Mobility S.A. was certified with the International Standard ISO 39001: 2012 related
to the Road Safety of all involved parties.
The recognized Environmental Management ISO 14001 and Road Safety Management Standards ISO 39001 offer the possibility of integrating the aforementioned systems to the overall strategic planning of the two companies. They require and ensure increased focus on identifying and managing risks and opportunities, while emphasizing on the importance of the identification of certain improvements for the minimization of the environmental impact and any possible impact on the Road Safety (in the case of Siemens Mobility S.A.) of the organization as well as of all those involved in the value chain of its services.
These standards are in perfect harmony with the principles of both
companies worldwide, and are in fact the proof that their innovative solutions
and services focus exclusively on the benefit they can bring to society and the
planet.
