Siemens’ powerful presence at Panorama’s Business Days
In his opening speech, Johann Goettler,
President & CEO, welcomed the participants in the world of technology, digitalization,
and Siemens Digital Enterprise portfolios’ disruptive technologies. "Collaborations

Dr. Vassilios Chatzikos, Country Head, Digital
Industries, shared the latest technological developments and major trends regarding
Industry 4.0, along with examples showcasing how Siemens perfectly combines the
digital with the real world. Argyris Tsigalis, from the Digital Industries
sector, presented the Digital Enterprise portfolio’s digital solutions for the
industry, including the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) and the Industrial
Edge, while he made a special reference to the issue of Cybersecurity.
Participants also had the opportunity to take a virtual tour of the 3D show
room of Siemens' Additive Manufacturing Experience Center (AMEC), under the
guidance of George Tsiares, Siemens Digital Industries Certified Specialist in
Additive Manufacturing. AMEC is located in Erlangen, Germany and operates as
Siemens’ Prosthetic Manufacturing (AM) Skills Center, one of Siemens’ 7 AM Hubs
worldwide.
Sotiris
Karatzounis, from Siemens’ Smart Infrastructure sector, spoke about Grid Edge
systems and Siemens’ cutting-edge technologies, which provide solutions to the
challenges that smart cities’ infrastructure will face. Mr. Karatzounis also
referred to the evolution and the contribution of e-mobility to the sustainable
cities of the future. The Panorama Siemens Business Day closed with Eirini
Koufaki and Thomas Mourezini, from the HR department, who inspired the
attendees with their personal branding speeches.
The
Panorama Siemens Business Day took place in the context of Siemens’
sponsorship, for the second consecutive year, to the digital Panorama of
