Changes in the leadership of Siemens
Following a multi-year professional experience
in management, sales and marketing positions in the technology sector of large
companies in Greece, as well as having a record of significant academic
achievements, such as his participation in European research programs, lectures
and publications in international research journals, Dr. Vassilis Chatzikos
joined Siemens SA in 2016, taking over the position of Business Unit Manager in
the Electrical Products department at first and the Motion Control department
later.
Since February 2021, Dr. Vassilis Chatzikos has
been the Head of Digital Industries at Siemens Greece and is leading the effort
to adopt technological solutions and innovations from Siemens’ global network in
Greece, with the aim of accelerating the digital transformation of Greek enterprises
and the transition of the Greek industry to Industry 4.0.
During his term as President, Chief Executive
Officer and Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Johann Goettler successfully promoted
the digital transformation of Siemens Greece, positioning Siemens as a leading
digital technology company in the country, in the fields of digital industries,
smart infrastructure, and energy.
