Siemens offers new 3WL10 circuit breaker in compact size 0

The picture shows the new 3WL10 circuit breaker 3WL10.

Circuit breakers are the heart of the electrical power distribution and reliably protect electrical installations against damage or fire as a result of short circuits, ground faults, or overload faults. 3WL air circuit breakers from Siemens act as incoming-feeder, distributor, coupler, and outgoing-feeder circuit breakers in electrical systems in industry, buildings, and infrastructure applications. They switch all operational and fault currents and protect motors, capacitors, generators, transformers, busbars, and cables. Thanks to this expansion of the 3WL portfolio, Siemens now covers the power range from 630 A to 6,300 A in four different sizes. The entire portfolio can be used worldwide up to 70°C (without derating up to 55°C) and complies with IEC-60947-2 and DIN VDE 0690 part 1. Furthermore, all circuit breakers with functions for communication and energy data acquisition can be configured via Profibus or Modbus.
