DB Regio AG is part of Deutsche Bahn AG and provides transport services in local rail passenger transport. DB Regio Nordost runs local trains and S-Bahn trains in Berlin, Brandenburg and Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.
The Verkehrsverbund Berlin-Brandenburg (VBB) is one of the largest public transport authorities in Europe. Every day, more than four million passengers use the buses and trains of around 40 public transport companies coordinated by VBB.
