New Siemens thermostat range communicates and saves energy

New slim and smooth design
By having all room automation in one slim device that’s 25 mm in thickness, a large backlight screen and intuitive touch buttons, the thermostat range is an elegant addition to any room design. Touch buttons and a touch rotary knob prevent the accumulation of dust and dirt, resulting in a surface that is easy and quick to clean. The thermostats can be sanitized using diluted alcohol to prevent the spread of germs and viruses. The screen and buttons can be customized via parameter settings to adapt to different areas of use. The devices offer intuitive control with easy-to-understand icons on the display.

Universal solution for room control
The RDG200 thermostat range offers a wide selection of preloaded applications and flexible control outputs to cover applications for many industries through built-in sensors and a flexible power supply. From fan-coils to heat pumps and heated or chilled ceilings, the new thermostat also has a wide range of usage. Combined with the large choice of outputs (on/off, PWM, DC 0…10 V, 3-position), it serves as a universal solution for room control.

Fast installation and commissioning
Installation and commissioning can be done within minutes, thanks to the easy to wire mounting plate and several commissioning options such as system tools, DIP switches and the smartphone ‘PCT Go’ app. Based on near-field communication technology (NFC), the ‘PCT Go’ app provides copy-paste functions from several devices, import and export settings via email or messaging apps, and setting-up the unpowered devices while they are still in their packaging.
