Paolo Mania - Head of Operations, AcegasApsAmga
Paola Manià, Electrical engineer, working at AcegasApsAmga since 2002 in electricity distribution. He has been responsible for the commissioning and renewal of three Siemens remote control systems and a DCS for a turbogas power plant.
Over the past twenty years, he has also overseen the construction and revamping of primary and secondary substations, power lines, traffic light systems and remote control of traffic light systems, as well as the complete construction of a combined cycle gas turbine power plant. He is currently head of operations and maintenance for AcegasApsAmga's electricity distribution system. He is passionate about regulations and is a member of several technical committees.
Maurizio Bigolon - Head of Solutions, Siemens Grid Software Italy
Maurizio is a seasoned Information Technology engineer with 25 years of extensive experience in SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) and OT (Operational Technology) systems. Currently serving as Head of Solutions for Siemens Grid Software in Italy, he has been at the forefront of developing and implementing cutting-edge solutions for distribution grid management.
Throughout his career, Maurizio has specialized in advancing power grid automation and control systems, contributing significantly to the evolution of smart grid technologies.
His deep expertise in SCADA systems and grid management software has been instrumental in optimizing distribution network operations and enhancing grid reliability. In his current role, he drives innovation in digital solutions for modern grid challenges, focusing on integration, automation, and efficient network management. His comprehensive understanding of both the technical and operational aspects of power distribution systems makes him a recognized expert in the field of grid management technology.
