Change in the communications management at Siemens

"We thank Stephan Heimbach for his engagement for the company and sound management of communications at Siemens, and respect his desire for a change. Stephan Heimbach made many valuable contributions to the company, particularly in the turbulent time of change within the company. We wish him every success with his new professional goals," said Joe Kaeser, who will provisionally take over the lead of communication.
"After nine years of highly intensive involvement in day-to-day operations, including phases of challenging communications at Siemens during the compliance crisis in 2006-2007 and the change in the company's top management in 2013, I would like to set other priorities in the coming years. The situation for a change is quite favorable now: Siemens is moving forward on an excellent course. Germany offers many interesting possibilities politically and socially, as well as in economics, business, markets and technology. I look forward to having the freedom to explore them and to having greater entrepreneurial independence. I will keep my close ties to Siemens," said Heimbach.
