“Siemens is a key partner to helping us realize a digital transformation of our enterprise,” said Isbrand Ho, Managing Director at BYD Europe. “We are taking a holistic look across all business areas and see digitalization as an important driver of future success.”
BYD has plans to implement digital solutions across the business, using the digital twin to create seamless communication between the digital product, digital production and digital operations. BYD has plans to implement the Xcelerator portfolio including NX™ software for computer aided design, Teamcenter® software as their product lifecycle management (PLM) platform and Simcenter™ software for simulation and testing.
