Basic industrial PCs for many different applications in the price-sensitive segment

The picture shows the new Simatic IPC portfolio.

With the new Simatic IPC327E and IPC377E Basic IPCs, applications can be implemented quickly if they do not have specific requirements with regard to certificates, higher temperature ranges or protection classes in the industrial environment. As with all Simatic IPCs, the quality and design of the devices make them suitable for industrial applications, with the selection and harmonization of the individual components and the fanless design with a sealed enclosure offering robustness and a long service life. The state-of-the-art PC technology and multitude of interfaces mean that they can be easily integrated into new and existing automation solutions. They come equipped with an Intel Celeron quad-core processor, a 500 gigabyte hard drive, a VGA and DisplayPort, a PCIe mini-interface, two Gigabit Ethernet interfaces, and up to six COM and USB 3.0 interfaces.

Background information:
The new Simatic IPC327E Box PC and the Simatic IPC377E Panel PC from the Basic IPC series are part of the portfolio of Simatic Industrial PCs from Siemens. This includes the scalable Box, Panel and Rack PC product lines in the performance classes Basic, Advanced, High-End and Embedded, supplemented by additional versions for special applications. The Simatic IPC range – from the compact fanless embedded device to the powerful, expandable high-end IPC – is specifically designed for industrial applications. For mobile automation engineering, users also employ the Simatic Field PG industrial programming device and the Simatic Industrial Tablet PC for mobile automation tasks.
