From September 22 to 25, 2026, Siemens Mobility
presented its comprehensive portfolio for the mobility of tomorrow at
InnoTrans, the international trade fair for transport technology in Berlin. At
the approximately 1,000 m² exhibition stand in Hall 27 and on over 300 meters
of track in the outdoor area of Messe Berlin, around 175,000 trade visitors
from over 120 countries experienced firsthand how future-oriented technologies
are sustainably transforming rail transport.
A central highlight of this year's fair was the world
premiere of the Vectron X. As the first software-defined locomotive, it brought
the Siemens Xcelerator platform directly to the railway and set new standards
for the industry. Siemens Mobility demonstrated how the intelligent networking
of rolling stock, infrastructure, and software creates measurable added value
through the use of data and artificial intelligence.
The innovations on display generated great interest
among InnoTrans visitors. The focus was on solutions for higher network
capacity, maximum reliability, and a first-class passenger experience. The
eventful week at the fair was accompanied by numerous contract announcements,
expert interviews, and a great exchange with our customers, journalists, and
partners from all over the world. With these milestones, Siemens Mobility
underlined its leading role in shaping an integrated and sustainable rail
system.
