Siemens Mobility appoints Laurent Bouyer CEO of Siemens Mobility France
Laurent
Bouyer will be responsible for business development for all Siemens Mobility
products and services in France and North Africa. This will notably include the
growth of the rail automation and automatic metro activities, whose global
centers of excellence for the Siemens group are based in France, in Châtillon
and Toulouse.

the rail industry and its stakeholders, Laurent Bouyer is well positioned to
accelerate the growth of Siemens Mobility in France. He brings a demonstrated
customer focus and entrepreneurial spirit and has successfully led the
strategic and operational development of subsidiaries of major industrial
groups in the past," said Michael Peter, CEO of Siemens Mobility.
Laurent
Bouyer started his career in England for Asea Brown Boveri (ABB) as part of the
project team for the Eurotram in Strasbourg. In 1995, he joined the Bombardier
group. There he held senior positions in the fields of tender management, strategy,
French and international sales, as well as project management.
In 2014, he joined Bombardier
Transportation's headquarters in Berlin to lead the group's internal
international transformation. From 2008 to 2014, he successively led the AGC
and Francilien projects in Crespin, in the Hauts-de-France region, and was then
appointed Vice President of the French SNCF and RATP projects. In 2018, he was
appointed President of Bombardier Transportation for the France and Benelux
region, a position he held until now.
Laurent
Bouyer, 50, is a graduate of the Nantes School of Management and Business
(1992) and holds an advanced degree in economics and business management from
the University of Nottingham in the United Kingdom (1993). He is also a commander
in the French Navy's citizen reserve.
